I've Got SUNSHINE, On a Cloudy Day!

First, I just wanted to say thanks for keeping up with the blog even though I haven't posted much recently! Lots of rain and cold weather have kept us searching for creative indoor activities with friends for the the last few weeks. I wish you could see the looks on people's faces when they're riding there bikes out in this weather. I was kinda hesitant to take a picture of anyone while they were riding, afraid the flash would startle them and I'd be the cause of who knows what. :) I don't think I've ever anticipated the arrival of Spring so much as I have these past few weeks. I'm eager for the harshness of winter to be over, and to see and smell flowers in bloom!!

I never cease to be amazed at the simplicity used to haul things around here. I've seen people use creative measures to haul stuff...but this one was really impressive! It's mathematical, artistic, & economically friendly.

Happy牛Year!

It's the year of the cow, and the word for cow kind of sounds like the English word "new"...so "Happy Niu Year!"

It's New Year's Eve here (based on the Lunar Calendar), and since the sun went down a few hours ago it's sounded like we're in a battle zone with all the fireworks going off! Every now and then it even sounds like they're being shot of from inside our living room. But it's definitely exciting! :)

When we walked outside to go eat, that gun smoke powdery smell filled the air. And where did we go to eat? All the shops have been closed on our street, and all the street vendors have gone home...all but one...and we've eaten there 3 times w/in the past 48 hours, I think.

The BIG City

We took a trip over to the BIG city, and had an awesome day being tourists snapping pics of all the skyscrapers!It was such a beautiful day!Part of the skyline by the river.We bought animal hats to keep our heads warm!From a tower looking over part of the city at night.The architecture of the buildings is SO unique!

Nat'l Champs!

What an exciting time to be a GATOR fan! The boys played awesome this season, and fleshed out the promises Tebow made at the beginning of the season...that we'd never see a team play harder than they would the rest of the season!!! Nifty, Nifty, Look Who's 50!

Happy 50th Birthday Mama! I love you SO much, and I'm so thankful for the 50 full years of life the Father's given you! This is the day he has made...and we rejoice greatly in it!
